Risk Disclosure

Last updated 13 October 2026

Please read this before you use GOAT's market tools, the Launch Radar or the community. It explains the risks of trading crypto, especially new coins.

1. Crypto is high risk

Crypto prices can rise or fall sharply within minutes. You can lose some or all of the money you put in.

Only trade with money you can afford to lose completely.

2. New coins carry extreme risk

The coins shown on the Launch Radar and the Scanner are often only hours old. Many fail, and some are scams. Common dangers include:

3. What our safety checks can and can't do

The Launch Radar scans contracts with third-party security data from GoPlus, and applies liquidity, volume and age filters. A 🟢 badge only means that none of the red flags we check for were found at the time of the check.

4. Exchange listing alerts

Listing alerts tell you that a coin has appeared on an exchange such as Binance, Bybit or OKX. Prices around new listings are extremely volatile. An alert is not an endorsement of the coin or the exchange.

5. Market data and automated posts

Prices, charts and news come from third parties and may be delayed or wrong. Posts by @GOAT and alerts in our Telegram channel are generated automatically. Always check information at the original source before you act on it.

6. Community posts

Members' posts are their own opinions, not GOAT's. Treat any promise of guaranteed or quick profits as a warning sign.

7. Protect yourself from scams

8. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own trading decisions and for any taxes or legal duties that come with them in your country. If you need advice, speak to a licensed financial professional.
